The app for people living with epilepsy
One step at a time, together.
With Naura you ask for help with one tap, keep the people who care about you informed and show those nearby what to do during a seizure.
- Encrypted card and diary
- Helper card without your name
- iPhone, Android and smartwatch
How it worksWhen an aura comes, one tap is enough
Tap “I feel an aura”
The big button is always up front, even when Naura is locked with Face ID, fingerprint or a pattern. You can also start aura mode from your watch.
You have 30 seconds to say “I’m okay”
Naura guides you calmly and your network gets a heads-up straight away. If you don’t cancel, the alert goes out, with your location if you chose to share it.
People nearby know what to do
Your phone shows clear instructions for helpers, and the people you trust can reply “I’m on my way”.
Aura mode“Breathe. I’m here with you.”
When you feel a seizure coming, Naura starts a 30-second countdown and reads you three simple steps to get safe.
- Your network gets a heads-up straight away: the countdown has started.
- If you’re okay, cancel with one tap and your network is told you’re fine.
- If you don’t cancel, the alert goes out, with your location if you chose to share it.
- See straight away who is on their way to help.
- With “SOS” the alert goes out immediately, with no countdown.

For helpersThe people next to you know what to do
During a seizure your phone becomes a guide for whoever is nearby: a few clear instructions, read aloud, and the time that has passed.
- Screen always on, large high-contrast text.
- Your helper card: medication, allergies and useful notes, without your name or contacts.
- On your phone it closes when you hold “It’s me, I’m better” for 3 seconds, or when someone in your network marks the alert as resolved.

For family and caregiversYour care network, always informed
Invite the people you trust with a code, a link or a QR code. With the app they receive your alerts, see where you are during an alert or a walk (if you share your location), and can reply “I’m on my way”.
- A dedicated screen for caregivers, with active alerts and the people they follow.
- The name of whoever is coming shows on the phone of the person having the seizure.
- A test notification to check that alerts get through.

Safe walk“Heading home”: I’ll keep you company
One tap and Naura works out the route and the expected time, on foot, by bike or by public transport. While you’re on your way, your network can see where you are if you share your location.
- Arriving home is detected automatically, even with the app closed.
- If you like, Naura asks “All good?” at regular intervals.
- The people who follow you see the walk on a map.

Diary and calendarA few taps a day
Log seizures, symptoms, mood, medication and possible triggers. The calendar shows your month at a glance, handy to look at together with your doctor.
- Auras, absences and seizures in different colours.
- Alerts are added to the calendar automatically.
- The quiet coach, at the top of Log: one line a day based on your diary. A gentle tip, not medical advice.

Apple Watch and Wear OSHelp from your wrist
Start aura mode or an SOS from your watch without taking out your phone: it just needs to be nearby and connected.
- An “AURA” button, plus “SOS” you press and hold for 2 seconds.
- Vibration and a countdown, with a cancel button until the alert goes out.
- The connection status with your phone is always shown on the watch.

The Apple Watch app is currently in Italian only.

Frequently asked questions
Is Naura free?
Yes. It shows a small, non-personalised ad banner on some screens, never on the alert, helper or walk screens.
Do I need a smartwatch?
No. Naura works with just your phone. A watch (Apple Watch or Wear OS) is optional and lets you ask for help from your wrist.
Who receives my alerts?
Only the people you choose: people who accept your invite to your care network get a notification in the app. You can remove them at any time.
Can I use it for someone in my family?
Yes, in two ways. On the phone of the person with epilepsy choose “Primary user”: the app is theirs. On your own phone choose “Emergency contact” and enter the code you received: you’ll get their alerts. If the person is under 14, the account must be created and managed by a parent or guardian.
Which languages is it available in?
The phone app and the Wear OS app are in Italian and English; the Apple Watch app is currently Italian only.
Important
Naura is not a medical device and doesn’t replace your doctor, your treatment or emergency services. The wellbeing indication is experimental. An alert may not get through, or may not ring, without network, battery or permissions, if the watch isn’t connected to the phone, or if the recipient’s phone is on silent or Do Not Disturb.
Naura is coming soon
